Indianapolis, IN – On Monday, August 20, BP recalled unleaded regular gasoline shipped from its Whiting, Indiana fuel terminal between August 13 and 17 due to vehicles hard starting, stalling and other issues. However, recalled unleaded gasoline never reached Ricker’s stores.
Ricker’s Chairman Jay Ricker has announced that none of Ricker’s branded or supplied stores were affected by this recall.
“The recalled BP gasoline in northwestern Indiana did not reach any Ricker’s locations. However, if you were a customer at another BP station and believe your car was affected, BP intends to make it right,” Ricker said.
BP customers who purchased gasoline in northwest Indiana should call BP’s customer service line at 1-800-333-3991.
