Ricker’s Issues Statement on BP Fuel Recall

“Originally, it was only BP regular grade gasoline (from the Whiting, Indiana terminal) that was affected and mentioned in last week’s news articles. Ricker’s DID NOT receive any shipments of this gasoline which is why we issued a press release. Today, however, BP – as a precautionary measure –  reported that some of its premium grade gasoline from its refinery was also affected, but to a much lesser degree. Ricker’s DID receive some of this premium grade gasoline at a few– but not at all of its locations. Ricker’s – as a precautionary measure – has immediately remediated and has received no customer complaints regarding premium grade gasoline.” – Chairman Jay Ricker
